Inspiration

During the writing of the screenplay music was a huge source of inspiration for me. I found myself drawn to the work of three musician’s work – Steuart Liebig, Kevin Sandbloom & Mike Doughty (specifically his Soul Coughing repertoire)

Later I decided the majority of the songs and score would consist of songs that I have written on guitar over the course of the last ten years or so. They will be recorded at Aught Studios with Brian Rife. The songs will be a collection of spare pieces written for acoustic guitar, upright bass and drums. The collection will be complimented by additional pieces by Steuart Liebig, Kevin Sandbloom & Emilio Mendoza.
